Sevrin Tranvåg AS
Established in 1914 by the two brothers Jørgen and Sevrin Tranvåg. We’re located at Fiskarstrand near the fishing town Ålesund on the north-west coast of Norway, and our plant today covers ca 13 000 m2 of productions facilities. Ålesund and the nearby districts have for generations been a centre for fishing and fish processing, and this cluster has served as frontrunner and innovator for the entire norwegian fishing industry.

QUALITY
Our plant is located close to the north Atlantic fishing grounds, known for their rich fish resources and their cold clean waters. The fish caught on these grounds are of excellent quality. We’re registered with the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.

Products
Our activities are concentrated on two product lines, one being pelagic species, primarily herring, mackerel and horse mackerel.

The second product line is salted fish and salted dried fish, mainly cod, saithe, tusk and ling.
Most products are available on a year around basis.
