Fiordosur Seafood is a company dedicated to the production, distribution and exportation of fresh and frozen seafood. Our first processing facility opened in Valparaíso, Chile in 1988 and our second one oppened in July 2009 in Porvenir ( Tierra del Fuego), Chile. Our second plant is operated in partnership with Elaboradora de Alimentos Porvenir S.A (ELDAP S.A). The two plants  have been strategically located. The Valparaíso plant benefits from its proximity to the main port of Chile and the Porvenir plant positioned right in the heart of the Magellan Straight.

Magellan Straight and Antarctica ( Region XII) in renowned for its aquatic ecosystems which hold hight levels of phosphorus, nitrogen, and oxygen due to low temperatures waters and high solar radiance. The combination of all these factors has spawned a sustainable environment for extractive and artisan fishing, as well as aquaculture production. Our facilities maintain both product quality and excellence in service, upholding to all PAC (Chilean Equivalent of HACCP Program) and sanitary standards, assuring customer satisfaction. To prove this our plant has passed a third party food safety audit conducted by SGS.   By separating these two processing facilities it has allowed the Fiordosur Group to maintain a fresh and extensive product line, offering products such as chilean sea bass, swordfish, king crab, shrimp, snow crab, giant squid, hake, baby lobster, among others, to the demanding markets of Europe, Asia and North and South America.     In addition to the requirements imposed by the regulating authorities, Fiordosur and ELDAP`s mission is to provide ultimate customer satisfaction. Anticipating the higher demands for quality assurance and corporate socio-economic and environmetal responsibility, the ELDAP plant maintains an in-house laboratory and control center for all microbiological analysis, a state of the art water treatment plant, employee housing, and recreation center.
