Sriracha Moda Group of Company was set up to advance in crocodile industry by integrated management of crocodile lines of products that have been made in Thailand for more than 60 years. The company is located 100 km southeast of Bangkok with more than 1,500 satellite farms distributed all over the country. In the beginning we only made certain we have sufficient grade-I supply for valued customers. Now, we master in all products manufactured with CITES and GMP as well as HACCP standard. Sriracha Moda was registered as a commercial captive breeding institution with CITES Secretariat in 2003 with number A-TH-517. The species bred is the Siamese crocodile (Crocodylus siamensis). With natural copulation, 250 breeder crocodiles lay 5,000 eggs each year. We use artificial incubator to house all viable eggs for up to 67 days before gradually hatching. The hatchlings are fed in small ponds before delivering to satellite farms located around the country. The crocodiles, then, are raised in single-pond system for up to 3 years to reach 1.80 meter in total length. We carry them back to our processing plant for making skins and meat products. With capacity of more than 100 heads per day, our slaughter house yield more than 1,000 skins and 10 tonne frozen crocodile meat per month. Other by-products such as dried blood and dried meat are processed to make food supplement and medicine.
The company has a slaughter house that meets the GMP standard. It has been registered as an approval establishment for export of aquaculture products with the Department of Fisheries, Thailand Number 1255. The frozen meat is exported to eastern Asia where Chinese and Oversea Chinese love to consume healthy meat.
Some skins are salted and sold as salted skins to Japan and Europe. Most skins are being tanned locally by professional tannery and ready for wallet, belt, handbag, etc. We invested over 10 million baht in our manufacture to make it one of the most advance and sophisticated plant of all. It was because the high-valued crocodile skins cannot tolerate under-standard or second-handed machine and parts. All leather products come with 100% satisfaction guarantee and lifetime guarantee.
