About Moka
Moka Foods is an Australian owned family business that has been operating for close to 20 years. Today Moka Foods employs approximately 20 personnel and is a leading market force in the competitive industry of food manufacturing.

From a humble beginning, with less than 60 tonnes of product manufactured in the first year of operation, today it produces over 750 tonnes per annum. It currently produces over 100,000 potato cakes/scallops in one working shift as well as thousands of its other products – all of which are produced to exacting specification.

The annual turnover of the company has increased exponentially therefore granting the business the ability to take the next step. Moka Foods supplies most major distributors in its home state of Victoria and can also be found in Brisbane and Sydney. It is currently liaising with other Distribution centres to enable Moka Foods products to be sold throughout Australia and overseas.

The Number 1 product is the potato cake/scallops. Today being available in two sizes. Other popular products include battered fish, tempura battered fish, seafood sticks, patties and the Moka Dog. The battered smoked sausage that has sales growing in an alarming rate.

Moka Foods offers a unique blend when it comes to its top management make-up. The operational managers have over 50 combined years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.

Health & Safety
Food and safety quality assurance are integral to the production of all foods. Moka Foods is accredited with the food safety program – Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)

Very strict principles, guidelines and policies are in place and are audited bi-annually to ensure that the prescribed and revised food laws, occupational health and safety laws are all being met.

In addition to the commitment to food safety and hygiene, the staff is trained and qualified to nationally accredited Food Hygiene Handlers Level 1 standard.
