“DIM MANTE Bros & Co” is a family owned business focused on producing and marketing fresh Mediterranean fish.
It was founded in 1989 by brothers Nicholas and Constantine Mante and constitutes one of the oldest companies in the industry.
In the course of the years we have managed to create a vertically integrated unit that handles the entire process from broodstock to the production and distribution of the finished product.
Given the familial form of the business, a sound human resources base was developed over time, where a climate of trust and closeness is present all while under the continuous supervision and prime engagement of the shareholders themselves with the daily activities.
We are passionate about our work and we can proudly declare that we adhere to all required standards and quality control.
The company is particularly sensitive with regard to the qualitative control of the water, the environment as well as the feeds. And this is something that can be reflected literally with the certifications we hold. We have been certified with ISO 22000:2005 – Food Safety Management System and operate strictly within the HACCP proposed guidelines.
We are capable of supplying first-class quality products to the market and the continually increasing customer recognition & satisfaction is our motivating force.
Our Products
Scientific studies indicate the need for a diet low in fats and carbohydrates, but rich in protein, vitamins, minerals and unsaturated fatty acids. A valueable nutritional product for people of all ages with special or regular diet. A Mediterranean custom that comes with an increased level of health.
Environmental conditions are ideal in our region and encourage the natural growth of fish, without hastening the breeding cycle as is usually the case with warmer countries. Meanwhile the feeds being used come solely from trusted and certified brands, thus ensuring a well balanced and healthy diet.
Known for their distinct Mediterranean taste, our main productline consists of: Gilthead Sea Bream, European Sea Bass, and Brown Meagre while species such as Red Porgy, Pandora and Sharpsnout Sea Bream are raised in smaller quantities.
The Gilthead Sea Bream and European Sea Bass are in production process throughout the year, while the rest are seasonal. Harvesting is made on a dialy basis and the packeged fish leave the premises on the same day.
