We set the standard
A leader in the global seafood industry, American Seafoods Company provides customers the world over with consistently high-quality seafood products. With six state-of-the-art vessels, we harvest and at-sea process Alaska pollock, yellowfin, sole, Pacific cod and Pacific hake, and are committed to the responsible, sustainable management of the Alaskan and Pacific Northwest fisheries in which we operate. Our contribution to the economic health of the fisheries and seafood industry is significant, and our more than 1,000 employees—on land and at sea—are among the most knowledgeable and experienced in the business.

Our Core Values

What we stand for-
At American Seafoods Company, our continued success is built on four core values:

Quality
We harvest, at-sea process and distribute a diverse array of reliably fresh, wholesome, high-quality seafood products.

Sustainability
We are committed to the responsible and sustainable management of our fisheries for both the good of the environment and the ongoing health of our business.

Innovation
We continually strive to find new ways to improve the efficiency, safety, quality and sustainability of our business.

Respect
We attract and retain quality customers, employees and suppliers by treating them with honesty, consideration and respect.

Our Vessels

American Dynasty
The American Dynasty joined the American Seafoods fleet in 1989 following its conversion in Norway’s Ulstein Hatlø shipyards. She is a “two-level” processor, meaning her processing operation is divided between two decks.

American Triumph
The American Triumph is our most powerful at-sea processor. She also boasts the largest frozen hold capacity of any of our two-level processing vessels.

Northern Eagle
The Northern Eagle is not only our longest vessel, she is now one of the world’s most advanced at-sea processors. In 2012, American Seafoods Company completely rebuilt her processing lines, installing the latest processing technology available. We also changed all the freezing equipment to ammonia-based technology, which eliminates the Eagle’s ozone-depleting emissions and reduces her carbon footprint.

Northern Jaeger
This modern catcher processor is designed to produce the highest quality seafood products available from the sustainable fisheries of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. Within hours of harvest she converts her catch at the peak of its quality into such seafood products as frozen surimi, fillet, roe, fishmeal and fish oil.

Ocean Rover
Since acquiring the Ocean Rover in the spring of 1997, American Seafoods has invested in numerous technological upgrades of her fishing and processing platforms, ensuring that she remains a state-of the-art seafood processor.

Katie Ann
Built in 1969 by the Maryland Shipbuilding & Drydock Company in Baltimore, the Katie Ann was on the of the first modern U.S. vessels designed to harvest fish and process at-sea. She was re-powered and modernized for pollock production in Maaloy, Norway in 1985 and joined the American Seafoods Company fleet in 1997.
