The Sriracha Crocodile Farm’ has prided itself with a high standard of breeding, taking care and manufacturing croc products. It has been in business for more than 20 years and has a land capacity of 200 acres. There are 2 breeds of crocodiles on the farm; Crocodylus Siamensis and Crocodulus Porosus. These 2 breeds are well known for having the highest quality crocodile skin and the most beautiful crocodile pattern in the world.
Currently, there are about 120,000 crocodiles living on the farm. More than 5,000 of these male and female crocs are producing more than 50,000 eggs annually. This is the largest breeding ground in Asia.
We are a licensed international trader, care taker and breeder of crocodiles authorised by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA). We have also acquired a license for quality inspection and quarantine from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (AQSIQ).
We are a member of the Crocodile Management Association of Thailand (CMAT) and in partnership with the Crocodile Specialist Group (CSG). This allows us to exchange knowledge and skills regarding maintaining an ideal and proper living environment for crocodiles, breeding, and manufacturing crocodile products. Another membership benefit is that it allows crocodile market specialists and other members to exchange knowledge about the crocodile leather market, crocodile meat trade and other crocodile products market and trends from all over the world.
Breeding
We created a natural breeding ground for our crocodiles which is identical to their natural habitat where the environment is serene, peaceful and free from any kind of human disturbances. We highly prioritize the maintenance of breeding ground for our male and female crocodiles in order to reproduce healthy eggs and hatch into healthy crocodile babies. Our way of breeding has been approved by the Good Agricultural Practice (GAP).
With a large number of eggs hatching each year, we need to outsource a crocodile nursery which is called Contract Farming. Once these baby crocodiles have grown to a proper size, they will be sent back to our farm.
Contract Farming
Contract farming is where our farm will outsource a prospective candidate who would like to own a crocodile nursery to nurture our baby crocodiles with care up to a certain age. We are selective with whom we allow to Contract Farm, for the benefit of our baby crocodiles.
For those who are interested, we have a team of specialists who will give the following services and advice:
– We give advice on how to build and design the nursery ranging from a single pond to multiple ponds for crocodiles.
– We give advice on how to take care of these baby crocodiles from day one up to the release date.
– We deliver the healthy baby crocodiles to our partnered Contract Farming.
– We provide constant consultation up to the release date.
– We’ll send our specialists regularly to visit and check the built nursery and check on the crocodiles. During these visits, they will give tips and advice if needed.
– Once these crocodiles have reached a certain age, we will offer to buy them back.
Factory
Our factory for producing crocodile products and raw materials is a modern facility with up to date equipment, it is hygienic and is approved by the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
We produce raw materials such as crocodile meat, blood and leather which could be transformed, used and sold. With our meat range, we provide dried croc meat which could be used as one of the ingredients in Chinese medicine and fresh croc meat which could be used in cooking different types of dishes especially high quality Chinese food.
Studies has been made around the world that croc blood could bring several benefits to the human body. We use this blood to produce crocodile capsules by using our own technology which would bring out all the benefits that a human body could get.
As for our croc skin products, we produce high quality crocodile leather which could be transformed, dyed and use for a variety products. We use our own technology which brings out the best of croc skin into leather. This is suitable for any design ranging from Safari, Gracing, Oriental and Pastel.
We also provide raw crocodile skin and leather which has not been transformed nor dyed. Our clients for this range of product are well known Brand Names and they buy our raw crocodile skin and leather and would transform and dye them into leather according to their liking and design.
Manufacturing
We have manufactured products from our own raw materials for more than 20 years and this has made our farm an expert in transforming crocodile raw materials into finished products. Our products such as bags, belts, shoes, key chains etc. are under the brand name SC Sriracha and Crocco.
