The GUINEA’S brand was founded in the eighties, and taken over by the Denis Frères Group in 2000. Its mission is to promote Tropical African cuisine, thanks to a range of ingredients, kits and ready-to-eat dishes, such as ‘Moambe’ (palmfruit soup base), ‘Saka-saka’ (cassava leaves), crude palm oil, coconut milk…
Our consumer base consists of African communities living either in their countries of origin or in Europe or America, travellers and expatriates as well as adventurous food-lovers in search of new flavours. These consumers from Belgium, France, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Canada and the USA, and even Angola, shop in traditional ethnic stores as well as in the mainstream retail distribution. They can find our range, but also promotional activities, tasting events, and recipe leaflets that enable them to improve their experience and find many new ways to use our products.
In 2004, in order to cater for an ever increasing and strict demand, the Group invested in a dedicated production unit, that is HACCP , ISO 9001-2000 and HALAL certified.
