About Us
Food Partners is a success story that begins in 2000 in Heppignies, near Charleroi (Belgium), resulting in European leadership in the creation and distribution of crab-based products… But not just any crab: the King Crab (Paralithodes camchaticus)! Size, exceptional taste and refinement: it lives up to its name perfectly.

Today, Food Partners offers you many other products, all with the same pursuit of excellence that has always been the foundation of our reputation.

Our production centre is still based in Heppignies. It’s there that we create our tasty Chatka® and Captain Byrd® products, as well as a number of own-brand lines for major European distributors.

Certifications
The quality of Food Partners’ products and processes is also guaranteed by certifications and approvals awarded by independent control bodies.

In particular, we have…
– IFS Food certification for quality and safety of seafoods and their preparation.
– MSC certification awarded for sustainable fishing and seafood traceability.
– VE6025 quality approval for seafood processing and B252 quality approval for meat products processing, obtained from AFSCA.
