Sea Horse Corporation’s 75 ponds, located at Santubong had produced a steady production of prawns with production last year at 1,718 tonnes and 700 tonnes this year until June.

With good prospects and demands from markets worldwide, the company is currently constructing 28 additional ponds at the present farm while awaiting application for a 100 hectre area at Tanjung Manis under its expansion programme.

The farm is also one of among 17 farms in the country to have obtained the Fish Quality Certificate approved by European Union exporters as well as the Malaysia Aquaculture Farm Certification Scheme (SPLAM).
